der begriff suedostbahn (sob) steht nicht fuer eine region,
sondern vielmehr fuer eine verkehrs-relation oder -konzept.
die erste suedostbahn von 1853 sollte einst die grosse
ostalpenbahn werden (relation rheintal-tessin). die zweite
suedostbahn war wiederum als zufahrt richtung sueden
konzipiert (relation ostschweiz-gotthard). was heut kaum
noch bekannt ist, ist das ursprungskonzept der
bodensee-toggenburgbahn. es hiess naemlich st. gallen-zug
(wiederum die relation ostsschweiz-gotthard). der begriff
suedostbahn hat durchaus seine historische und
konzeptionelle berechtigung.
